Slack
Handle support requests and internal workflows directly in Slack with AI-powered assistance. Notify teams instantly when workflows trigger key events
Overview
Slack is a team messaging platform that many companies also use to support customers in shared channels (including Slack Connect). Lorikeet connects to Slack so it can assist in those conversations—answering questions, drafting replies, and notifying your internal team about important support events when appropriate.
What it is
Slack + Lorikeet lets you support customers where they already communicate—without turning Slack into a noisy chatbot channel. Because activation can be intentional, your team controls when the AI responds, and humans can step in instantly when needed. It also helps keep everyone aligned by pushing the right notifications into the channels your team already lives in.
How to integrate
Install the Lorikeet Slack app in your workspace (admin approval required), then add the Lorikeet bot to the channels where you want it available. If you use Slack as a lightweight support inbox—such as customer channels or an internal help channel—you’ll enable Slack as a supported channel in Lorikeet and choose how Lorikeet should be invoked. Many teams start with an explicit trigger (for example, a designated emoji reaction or a direct mention) so the AI only engages when you ask it to.
