Lorikeet Chat
Deploy AI agents directly on your website without needing a ticketing system.
Overview
Lorikeet’s chat widget is the fastest way to add Lorikeet to your website. It gives customers a simple chat experience without you having to build a custom UI or connect an existing ticketing system first. You can run the widget in two modes—Anonymous (no user identity required) or Trusted (identify users for more personalized support)—and you can customize the look and feel to match your brand.
What it is
The chat widget lets you launch quickly and still keep your customer experience on brand. You can adjust colors, title text, logo, button size, and default open behavior for mobile or desktop, and define what customers see if the widget can’t load or connect. This gives you a low-lift path to production and a clean starting point for expanding into deeper integrations over time.
How to integrate
Add a small JavaScript snippet (provided by Lorikeet) to a website you control. In the Lorikeet dashboard, your admin will copy your widget public key and include it in the script so the widget connects to your Lorikeet workspace. You can install it via a script tag (standard or module) or via npm, and you can choose to load it immediately or defer loading for performance. Once installed, the widget appears on your site and is ready to handle conversations using your configured workflows. Lorikeet provides the snippet, documentation, and guidance, and helps validate that everything is working end-to-end.
