The CommSec Data and Insights Centre of Excellence provides trusted data, capabilities, and actionable insights. As an Advanced Analytics Manager within the Customer Remediation and Product Fulfilment Squad, you will deliver advanced analytics and data analysis to support financial remediations and campaign execution, using advanced SQL, Python, and commercial skills to build solutions spanning customer insights, predictive modelling, and Agentic AI.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced analysis of CommSec and Group data to support financial and data remediations and respond to regulatory requests within timeframes.
Drive reporting and control automation, simplifying and automating campaign delivery, recurring reporting, and operational processes.
Complete project workstream outputs with quality assurance and approval for your area of responsibility.
Collaborate with business partners such as Risk and the broader Product team to shape the advanced analytics backlog.
Upskill the broader CoE in Advanced Analytics and help engineer the foundations for AI, ML, and Agentics in CommSec.
Requirements
At least 5 years of analytics experience in Financial Services, Remediations, or Product Management.
Demonstrated expertise delivering advanced analytics in high-complexity environments, applying statistical, predictive, and machine-learning techniques.
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, AWS, GitHub, Generative AI).
Sound experience across data management and information strategy, including governance, quality, and lineage.
Proficiency in IT SDLC processes, Agile delivery, and JIRA/Confluence documentation.
