Deloitte Digital is seeking a talented Customer Intelligence Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on-keyboard role for a builder passionate about using AI to understand customer behavior and drive business growth. You will rapidly build and deploy robust AI solutions that transform customer data into actionable intelligence, contributing to architectural decisions and implementing advanced AI patterns for next-generation personalization, engagement, and service.
Responsibilities
Lead hands-on development of AI-powered customer intelligence systems: personalization engines, advanced chatbots, sentiment analysis tools, and customer journey optimizers
Contribute to the technical architecture for customer-facing AI solutions
Build systems leveraging Agentic Architectures, Function/Tool Calling, and advanced RAG
Provide expert guidance on selecting AI models for customer intelligence tasks
Design and execute testing strategies ensuring accuracy, reliability, and fairness of AI applications
Requirements
Expert-level proficiency in Python/NodeJS; experience deploying production apps with Docker and CI/CD
Proven hands-on experience building complex AI applications; customer data platform experience a plus
Strong understanding of RAG, Agentic Architectures, and Function/Tool Calling
Experience with LLM provider APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
Solid understanding of testing LLM-based systems and creating evaluation harnesses
