Founding Growth Marketing & Customer Success Lead

VeraHire builds AI tools that help teams hire better and faster. We're hiring a self-driven, AI-savvy operator to build the go-to-market engine and customer experience from the ground up. This is a broad, hands-on founding role spanning marketing, customer success, operations and special projects, working directly with the founders.

Core outcomes

• Generate and nurture qualified sales pipeline.

• Build AI-enabled GTM and customer workflows that help scale the company.

• Deliver an excellent customer experience from first touch through onboarding and ongoing success.

• Lead special projects that materially improve growth, execution and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Growth/marketing: run and improve outbound, inbound, content and lifecycle initiatives; create assets and sequences; test positioning and channels; track performance.

• Customer success: own onboarding, training, follow-up and day-to-day communication; improve retention and expansion; build scalable playbooks and automations.

• AI-enabled operations: deploy AI tools to drive workflow efficiency across sales and marketing; automate repetitive work for prospecting, research, outreach, reporting and support.

• Special projects: lead high-priority initiatives from concept to execution with clear owners, deadlines and measured outcomes.

What we're looking for

• Strong written and spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.

• AI-native or highly AI-savvy; uses AI tools daily and can explain how.

• Experience in at least one of: growth marketing, customer success, GTM ops, founder's associate or a broad startup role.

• Comfortable switching between strategy and execution, highly organized with strong follow-through and good judgment in ambiguity.

Nice to have: experience with U.S. customers; SaaS, recruiting, HR tech or SMB software; and CRM, email automation, support, analytics and no-code/workflow tools.
