The Marketing Technology Solutions Lead bridges strategic marketing objectives with effective technological solutions at Rakuten Kobo. A strategic operator and problem-solver, you drive the identification, evaluation, and implementation of MarTech solutions, focusing on workflow automation, AI integration, and operational efficiency across marketing channels.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams to surface pain points and translate them into problems solved through MarTech.
Address MarTech needs across email, push notifications, digital advertising, and other engagement channels.
Streamline marketing workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency across the project lifecycle.
Research the MarTech landscape and drive Proofs of Concept for innovative marketing experiences.
Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI into marketing workflows and tools.
Lead hands-on configuration and implementation, building automations in ClickUp and internal tools in ReTool.
Design and maintain solution architectures across systems such as Hightouch, Builder.io, and Oracle Responsys.
Required skills and experience
5+ years in MarTech, marketing operations, or a related role with hands-on technical implementation.
Exceptional systems thinking and pattern recognition.
Deep expertise in workflow automation and low-code platforms (ReTool, ClickUp Automations, Zapier).
Proven ability to strategically leverage AI in marketing across automation, creative, and personalisation.
Expertise designing solution architectures across MarTech systems (Hightouch, Builder.io, BigQuery, Oracle Responsys).
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Nice-to-have
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
