We are seeking a Manager, BI & Analytics to drive third-party seller success on the Walmart Marketplace by enabling optimal use of tools, resources, and support. The Walmart India Cross Border team enables Indian brands, MSMEs, and sellers to expand globally across Walmart's international marketplaces, reaching over 120 million U.S. consumers each month.
This role transforms complex data into actionable recommendations, leveraging advanced analytics, predictive modeling, Generative AI, and automation to drive marketplace growth, seller success, and customer experience.
What You'll Do
Marketplace Analytics & Insights: Develop analytics frameworks to measure performance, identify trends and growth opportunities, and provide insights that drive marketplace strategy.
Business Intelligence & Reporting: Own the BI ecosystem, developing executive dashboards, scalable reporting, and KPI frameworks with strong data governance.
AI Adoption & Optimization: Drive adoption of AI, Generative AI, and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting, automate insight generation, and improve decision velocity.
Seller & Customer Analytics: Generate insights on seller and customer behavior to improve selection, effectiveness, engagement, and retention.
Strategic Decision Support & Stakeholder Management: Deliver forecasting and scenario modeling, and partner with Business Development, Category, Product, Finance, and Operations teams.
Team Mentorship: Build and lead a high-performing analytics team, establishing best practices in analytics and data governance.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
6-10 years in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science, or Strategy, ideally in marketplace, e-commerce, retail, or technology businesses.
Strong SQL expertise and advanced proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
