The Role

The Director of Implementations leads the organisation responsible for delivering every new Plexa customer from signed agreement through to successful production deployment.

This role combines executive customer engagement with operational leadership. You will work directly with some of Australia's largest builders while simultaneously building the systems, tooling and AI-powered workflows that allow Plexa to deliver implementations with increasing speed, quality and consistency.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary implementation function responsible for configuring enterprise environments, managing complex deployments, coordinating data migration, driving customer readiness and ensuring every customer is successfully transitioned into our Customer Success HyperSupport team.

As Plexa grows (and we still young but chalked up some big wins), you'll help define not only how implementations are delivered today, but how they scale over the next decade.

As Director of Implementations, you can expect to:

  • Lead enterprise software implementations from contract execution through production go-live.

  • Develop implementation strategies that align Plexa's platform with each customer's operational objectives.

  • Build and lead a high-performing implementation organisation focused on execution, accountability and customer outcomes.

  • Partner with Sales to ensure seamless commercial-to-delivery transitions.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to identify product gaps, remove implementation friction and influence future platform capabilities.

  • Design AI: enabled implementation workflows that improve delivery speed, consistency and customer experience.

  • Build operational dashboards and performance metrics that measure implementation health, customer readiness and organisational efficiency.

  • Identify implementation risks early and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve them.

  • Establish repeatable implementation methodologies that enable Plexa to scale without compromising quality.

  • Oversee the structured handover into Customer Success, ensuring customers are positioned for successful adoption, training and long-term growth.

What We Require

  • Experience leading enterprise SaaS implementations, Professional Services or Customer Delivery organisations.

  • Proven success delivering complex software implementations across multiple enterprise customers.

  • Experience building and managing high-performing customer-facing teams.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience using operational metrics to improve delivery performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success organisations.

  • Experience implementing AI or automation into operational workflows is highly regarded.

  • Experience within enterprise SaaS, ERP, workflow platforms or construction technology is advantageous but not essential.

Must have

  • Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 4- 5 years in a leadership role specifically in Software implementations and deployments.

  • Travel at 30% across Australia/NZ
