As an Associate Customer Success Manager at Sonatype, you'll engage a portfolio of customers through a scaled engagement model, using structured lifecycle motions and data signals to prioritize outreach. Your goal is to accelerate time-to-value, drive adoption, increase renewal confidence, and surface growth opportunities. A defining expectation is reflexive GenAI usage.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead structured customer motions to accelerate onboarding, adoption, and time-to-value.

  • Maintain a clear view of customer health, identifying risk signals early and driving mitigation.

  • Operate in a scaled engagement model, prioritizing actions based on telemetry, usage signals, and lifecycle milestones.

  • Increase renewal confidence and surface Customer Success Qualified Leads with the account team.

  • Use GenAI reflexively as a thought partner to improve the quality, clarity, and rigor of analysis, planning, and communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, or Support Engineering in B2B SaaS.

  • Technical aptitude within modern software development lifecycles (DevOps, CI/CD, artifact management, OSS security).

  • Strong GenAI fluency and a demonstrated habit of using AI tools to improve execution quality and speed.

  • Preferred: familiarity with software supply chain, OSS governance, or DevSecOps platforms.
