American National is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of its enterprise email marketing and marketing automation programs.
About the Role
This highly visible role combines strategic planning, campaign execution, customer journey design, and performance analytics to drive customer engagement and business growth. As the organization's marketing automation expert, you'll define best practices, improve processes, and identify innovative ways to connect with customers throughout their lifecycle. While email is the primary focus, you'll also create connected experiences across digital and sales touchpoints.
What You'll Do
Serve as the strategic owner of email marketing and marketing automation initiatives.
Develop and execute email campaigns and automated customer journeys.
Build segmentation and personalization strategies.
Drive testing, optimization, and performance improvements, and analyze campaign effectiveness.
Partner with stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business goals and support integrated cross-channel campaigns.
Mentor team members and champion best practices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketo, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of automation, segmentation, customer journeys, and lifecycle marketing.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading testing programs.
HTML/CSS and SQL knowledge a plus.
