Job Description
Expeditors is seeking a forward-thinking Business Operations professional to drive operational excellence, analytics, technology adoption, and continuous improvement across the Indianapolis District. This role serves as a strategic partner to district leadership and requires a blend of leadership influence, analytical capability, and technical expertise, leveraging data, reporting, AI-enabled technologies, and process improvement methodologies. The final title may be aligned with the selected candidate's experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Performance: Partner with district leadership to evaluate operational performance, analyze operational, customer, and financial data to support decision-making, and facilitate Management Review Meetings.
Analytics, Reporting & Customer Solutions: Develop reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics, and partner with Sales, Pricing, Account Management, and Operations teams to support customer solutions.
Technology & Continuous Improvement: Leverage Microsoft Copilot, AI-enabled technologies, and automation to improve productivity; use advanced Excel, Power Query, and data analysis; and lead continuous improvement through process mapping and root cause analysis.
Training & Change Leadership: Coach employees and leaders on reporting tools, AI-enabled technologies, and best practices, and support technology deployments and organizational change.
