Personio's intelligent HR platform serves 15,000+ customers and their 1.5 million employees. The CX Business Automation Manager drives operational excellence across customer-supporting functions (Professional Services, Support, and Payroll Operations) and directly reduces customer effort. This is a hands-on builder role at the intersection of AI, automation, and customer experience.
What you will do
Analyze customer support and service workflows to identify inefficiencies and automate operational processes.
Work with product and customer journey teams to design and build automations and AI agents that do real work for customers, such as data imports, bulk configuration changes, and file processing.
Build, maintain, and continuously improve automation solutions so they run reliably at scale.
Build insight-driven automations that detect friction spikes and trigger responses automatically, moving CX from reactive to proactive.
Conduct gap analyses, design future-state workflows, and drive adoption through enablement and documentation.
What you will need
At least 5 years of experience, including 2-3 years in process automation or system integration; CX Operations experience is a plus.
Hands-on experience implementing AI-supported workflows, LLMs, or autonomous solutions, ideally customer-facing.
Hands-on experience with automation and low-code tools such as Make.com, n8n, or Zapier, plus a solid understanding of APIs and JSON.
Scripting and programming skills in JavaScript or Python.
